Keeping in mind the need and convenience of the students, we "Vinyasa Yoga Ashram" offer 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh which is actually the first section of 200 Hours - 13 Days Yoga Teacher Training. This short-term course is conducted every month of the year and is designed for all those people who are keen to learn yoga & wants to become a certified yoga teacher but don't have ample time to complete 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Whether you want to give your yoga practice a startup, move towards personal & spiritual development or wants to rejuvenate & refresh your soul, then the 100 Hours Yoga TTC is for you.

Course Syllabus

1. Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga forms the foundation of your training. You will learn traditional postures (asanas), breathing techniques, and body awareness practices that improve strength, flexibility, and balance.

👉 Focus: Stability, alignment, and mindful practice.

2. Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga introduces a dynamic and structured sequence of postures synchronized with breath. This practice helps build endurance, discipline, and internal heat.

👉 Focus: Strength, stamina, and breath coordination.

3. Vinyasa Flow

Experience the fluid movement of Vinyasa Yoga, where breath and motion are seamlessly connected. You will learn how to transition between poses with grace and control.

👉 Focus: Flow, creativity, and movement awareness.

4. Yoga Philosophy

Dive into the ancient wisdom of yoga through classical texts and teachings. Understand the true purpose of yoga beyond physical practice.

5. Anatomy & Physiology

Gain essential knowledge of the human body to practice and teach yoga safely. Learn how muscles, joints, and systems function during yoga practice.

👉 Focus: Injury prevention and body mechanics.

6. Pranayama and Breathing Exercises

Learn powerful breathing techniques that control energy (prana) and calm the mind. These practices enhance concentration and overall well-being.

👉 Techniques include:

  • Nadi Shodhana
  • Kapalbhati
  • Bhastrika
7. Shatkarma (Yogic Cleansing Practices)

Understand traditional yogic detox techniques that purify the body and mind. These practices help prepare you for deeper yoga and meditation.

  • Neti (nasal cleansing)
  • Dhauti
  • Kapalbhati cleansing
8. Teaching Methodology

Develop the skills needed to become a confident yoga teacher. Learn how to structure classes, guide students, and communicate effectively.

9.Asana Alignment and Adjustment

  • Yoga Schools usually offer Saatvic vegetarian meals. If you are not used to a completely vegetarian meal, we recommend carrying your supplements or multivitamins.
  • In addition carry your supply of prescription medicines, medicines for allergies, flu, muscle pains or even eye drops for dryness.
